Just recently I have been asked to speak about the benefits of supplying glasses online at the Great Specs Debate.

The Great Specs Debate is to be held on the 25th September 2007 in front of a large group of opticians (so you can see that I will be putting my head in the lion’s den so to speak). The topic of debate will be about the supply of glasses online with two sides, one against the supply of spectacles online and one for the supply of spectacles online.

Obviously I will be speaking “for” the supply of glasses online and part of the speech will be highlighting the benefits of patients being able to purchase their eyewear online.

Now there was I sat at my desk thinking of all the benefits relating to purchasing glasses online and came up with quite a few, when I thought to myself, the best people to be answering this question is you, my existing customers and visitors.

So, for the next few days I would love to hear what you think the “real” benefits to purchasing your glasses online actually are. Some of your benefits will probably include the price, convenience etc… But I’d love to hear other benefits as well.
