Hi Tim - yes it is possible, just make the near Rx plano and in effect we extend the "neutral" part of the lens to the bottom

Is it possible for a varifocal glasses to have a prescripted lenses near the top and UNcorrected for the bottom half of the glasses? By that, I mean, I am short-sighted and I require glasses for driving or watching TV, but I cannot stand wearing my glasses for reading, as I can read without glasses. Hence, the former query.

This way, I do'nt need to take my glasses off for reading and can still see distance as well.

Please advise?

David - our "success" rate for patients buying and being satisfied with varifocals bought online is well over 90% - so I thin kit is a mtter of the process used to calculate the correct lenses. We use a quite sophisticated system of accurate measurements, which I think helps us to achieve the high success rate - so don't give up......it's a lot cheaper than the high street !

I wear a varifocal lens for one eye only (the other lens is blank, not balanced). How do I price this, including extras such as a thin varifocal, when seeking a quotation on your site?
